Ok, so in the United States, movie critics are fawning over the latest installment of the Harry Potter series: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part I. Entertainment Weekly gives it an A-, stating that it and the lates Harry Potter films have been "consistently excellent." The New York Times has awarded it it's coveted "Critic's Pick" status.
In Norway, the movie made one reviewer lose her will to live while another decided this camping trip into the woods was not worth it and actually showed what a poor actor Daniel Radcliffe is.
So, naturally, this brings us to the question: why the difference? Apart from the obvious cultural difference whereby Americans are more optimistic than Norwegians, I've got nothing. I report, you decide.
